Life is beautiful-English
Life is beautiful is a movie about an Italian Jewish, Guido Orefice, who must use his imagination to help his son survive in a concentration camp of the second world war, one of the darkness part of the human history. The fact that a country could kill millions of people is so horrible. But was Guido right to hide the horrors of the concentration camps to his son? For me, he was.
Giosè,his son, was really young to see all the atrocity that was the war. Also, he was never scared because his father always told him that it was a game. So, for Giosè, the war wasn't hard to live with. He was playing a game where he could win a tank.
Guido never stopped to put his life in danger. I am not sure that all the parents would be able to do that so stoically. Sometimes he was very tired but he never showed it to Giosè. Besides, Giosè did not leave the war with many horrible pictures in his mind, since he escaped with the idea that he won the game and a tank. It's the best thought that a children can leave with after war. For many kids, the war was a horrifying place where people were killing each other for no reason.
Guido gave all what he had to his son. He lost his life to protect him. Is that an enough big proof of love?
